Yet African Americans--with our growing representation in the industry--have not been fairly or adequately represented as the recipients of these prestigious awards. Doug and Robin discuss the Academy's decisions over its 92-year history, including its great decisions, its disappointing award-decisions, and whether the Academy should continue to hold its powerful and exalted status in today's motion picture industry.
